We're enjoying another beautiful day in Denmark. Days like today are something precious, so we have to appreciate it, because not many are left. I was homesick the past couple of days. I was imagining how will I fly back home and how will I cry (again) at the airport, when I will spot dad (who will hopefully come pick me up as a tradition). What I am most sad about is that I missed my favorite Signal festival (festival of lights), which is the highlight of autumn (next to my birthday). I honestly love these light installations and projections.
When I mentioned my birthday than I will talk a bit more. There is the tradition in Denmark that if you are the birthday girl/boy than you must bring flødeboller (to school, work, anywhere...). So in the name of becoming more danish I brought them and the whole class was happy that they have something sweet after lunch. In the evening, my friend Simona baked cheesecake (with 20 candles with danish flag on it) for me and I couldn't be happier. Oh and I've also got Nutella <3
flødeboller
stay awesome!
