underwater series #1

I didn't know what new could I write on blog and by accident I had a GoPro with me all week, so I took couple of pictures of 3 (yes, 3) different pools where I train and spend time with my danish swimfriends (I just made up a word!). Just for an introduction I would like to mention for comparison that there are 6 swimming pools in city with just 130 000 residents, which is something between Pilsen and Reichenberg (cities in Czech Republic).
The club where I train call itself "Aalborg svømmeklub" (how simple is that?!) and it's one of the best swimming clubs in Denmark. You would find not just one Olympic Participant or World Cup winner in Aalborg swiming club. I am more than happy to be part of this club! My training group is amazing, even though I don't understand them sometimes (but I'm getting better in my Danish!) and I always give everything into training, so I hope I'll see the progress on competitions at the beginning of December just before I fly back home for Christmas.

P.S.: I will never get tired of sweets after training, when someone has birthday :)

FRESH START

Happy new year 2015! Hope you had a good fresh start, because I did. I was on a ski vacation in Italy and I couldn't be happier now. Seriously. I had a lot of fun and a lot of new friendships has been made over the week, because I went all by myself. I don't regret anything. The weather was amazing, the mountain scenery was spectacular, the number of taken photos was unbelievable. I feel so much energy right now and positivity is back in my mind again! I know that it was a FRESH START for me.

Underwater series

You may or may not know, that I am quite obsessed with my GoPro camera. The reason why is very simple. The camera can take such an amazing photos and make great ( high quality ) videos. I finally figured out how to edit videos, so right now it is almost the only thing I do ( haha).
I am showing you ( yes you, internet ) some new pics, which I took on Czech swimming championships, where I also competed. I did break some of my personal bests, but still it feels like I could do more. But for now it is finally christmas holidays. It's time to stop doing everything and just eat and sleep. I am going on a little ski vacation to Italy just me and myself. I cannot wait to be there!

I would like to say, that I am so so much happy with my GoPro camera, which I have more than one year now! I think a lot of improvement had been done and I again found the passion for taking pictures and making videos. All together it makes one incredible story ( of life ).

Krakow/school trip part two

Day two of school trip was much more cheerful and relaxing. Krakow is second largest city in Poland, but they say that it's more visited by tourists than Warsaw. During our tour, we were in beautiful Wawel's cathedral (where you seriously can not take pictures). Krakow has very strange main square and very strange building in the middle. Thanks to that, it looks like two squares and not like one. Kebab, pretzel, sweet dessert and than back home. On our way back to Prague was way too much fun. Seriously.

Osvetim/school trip part one

Čekala nás prohlídka koncetračních a vyhlazovacích táborech Osvětim ( Ausschwitz ) a Březinka ( Birkenau ). ).

When the teacher came with the offer to go to Osvetim and Krakow, I was thinking about 3 minutes and then I knew I want to go. Osvetim is a history, which we can't forget about. The place is strange, weird, interesting and educational.
The ride in a bus to Poland took abour 7 hours. We went on a tour around Osvetim ( Ausschwitz ) and Březinka ( Birkenau ) concetration and extermination camps. We had a really weird guide, who was polish, but he spoke czech as well. But the thing is, that the way he interprate was absolutely terrible.
Little note for the photos. I felt horribly, when I was  taking pictures of this place, where so many people died. I would describe it as a "inappropiate", I guess?
